Headmaster (sōke) of Ono-ha Ittō-ryū

Ono-ha Ittō-ryū has continued for more than 450 years ceaselessly from the father, Ito Ittosai Kagehisa and the founder, Ono Jiroemon Tada-aki. Durinig the Edo era as the Hatamoto status Ono-ha Ittō-ryū Sōke was the Kenjutsu Instructor to the Shogun.

The late 17th Sōke, Sasamori Takemi taught Ono-ha Ittō-ryū's ultimate goal is to prevent conflict、to merge with our adversaries and to be well-rounded. Also he embodied his teachings in his daily life. We want to follow and live up to our late Sōke's teachings, and contribute to global peace.

I am pleased when more people understand the essence of Kobudo.

1992	Joined the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department
1995	Started learning Ono-ha Ittō-ryū at the Budo Course, Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department
1998	Became a direct student of the 17th Sōke of Ono-ha Ittō-ryū, Sasamori Takemi
Oct. 1 2017	Succeeded as the 18th Sōke of Ono-ha Ittō-ryū as per the wish of Sasamori Takemi
	Philosophy: I dedicate whole my life to embodying amity and comity (enman 円満) as conveyed by Sasamori Takemi.
